Leonid Kurza, co-founder of Edumapple

Leonid Kurza is a co-founder of Edumapple, an education abroad agency founded in 2021, and of Edumapple Global Education LLP, its Kerala office in Kakkanad, Kochi, opened in 2023. He was born in Russia and educated in Russia and the United States, and holds two master's degrees.

On this site Leonid is responsible for the numbers. He reads the Russian universities' price lists and rector's orders for foreign students in the original, collects the FMGE results of each university from the NBEMS reports, and checks the NMC Foreign Medical Graduate Licentiate Regulations and public notices before anything is published. When a figure comes from an agent rather than from the university, it is marked as such.

Before Edumapple, Leonid spent more than a decade building and running large information websites, which is where the site's approach comes from: publish the source and the date of every number, and correct it when it changes.

He speaks Russian and English and works with the Kerala team on the Malayalam version.

What Leonid checks on this site

University fees in roubles and INR, FMGE pass rates by university, NMC rules and notices, Russian student visa and migration rules, the comparison of Russia with other countries.
